Splash Learn Login- Middle Room

SplashLearn has lots of assigned maths activities for each class level. Each student has their own account, so you will need your class code and student username and password, which can all be found below :)

Steps: 

1. Go to https://www.splashlearn.com/

2. Click 'sign in'

3. Clcik on 'class' 

4. Enter class code 

Second class: BBYXCH

Third class: ZAAJND

5. Click on child's profile and enter password (below)

• Reading:See  https://www.getepic.com/students  for assigned readers (choose from list. I will update again in the coming days): login code is ulu6346 and click on your child's name to access assigned books
• Spellwell: Week 25 activities
• Creative Writing: Write a letter and make an Easter card for a grandparent/friend/family member

Maths

• Maths Time  - Week 25 
• Revision: tables and 'length'- see twinkl for activities, or for online games see earlier bog post. Use daily ten to revise multiplication tables.
• Go on a 'length' scavenger hunt around the house- use a ruler or measuring tape- estimate and then measure the length and width of different items in the house, eg. door/window.tabletop. Extension activity for third- try to find the area! 
• Maths Games - all on blog
• Try completing maths puzzles like magic squares and sudoku (see twinkl)
• 'Splash Maths' log on details to follow

Gaeilge

• Fuaimeanna & focail - week 25 
• Béal Beo 3 - log in on 'edco' site - activities and reading comprehensions based on the chapter 'Ócáidí Speisialta: an Caisc (pages 159-161) (FREE HOME ACCESS LOGIN: username: primaryedcobooks password: edco2020)
• Watch programmes on TG4: https://www.tg4.ie/en/player/categories/childrens-tv-shows/ and listen to songs as Gaeilge- some nice ones can be found on the Colaiste Lurgan website here:  https://lurgan.biz/lurganlingo/  
• Practice 'Amhrán na gcupán' (the cup song)- the children have the lyrics and instructions on a worksheet, or lyrics video and instructions can be found on youtube :)
