Middle Room Activities: April 20th- 24th

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and are keeping safe and well! :)

Below are some suggested activities for this week. Remember to take regular movement breaks to help focus and attention. These could be: playing a game outside, going for a walk, doing a Joe Wicks or Go Noodle, practicing some yoga, doing some quick indoor quick exercises. Mindfulness activities, like creating mandalas or mindful colouring, are also great!. :) :) 

ART

READING:

Creative Writing: Create your own superhero, and write a comic strip adventure story about them (at least 1 page!)   • Name and describe 3D shapes- How many faces? How many corners/vertices? How many edges?
  • Go on a 3D shape hunt around the house- photograph or draw and then label shapes you find

  • Create or draw a robot/sculpture using 3D shapes

An Nuacht: In class we write our news in Irish every Monday. Try to write news at least once a week, and practice saying the day, date and a bit about the weather each day. There is a powerpoint entitiled 'An Nuacht'  from twinkl which has the layout and vocabulary for news, and the first three slides have the vocabulary for day/date/weather .
